Day 1: Cape Town Private Airport Transfer :

  • Upon landing at Cape Town international airport, you will be greeted by your personal and private tour guide driver who will take care of all your Cape Town transfers and tours for a few days.
  • You will be transported in a luxury air conditioned sedan vehicle or mini bus to your hotel. Guest(s) will spend the rest of the day at their own leisure.

Day 2:  Cape Town private City tour with Table Mountain:

  • You will be picked up at your accommodation at 9:00am by your Tour guide/driver and embark on a driving and walking tour of this historical city.
  • We begin in the heart of the city in Adderley street where we will view historical monuments like Bartholomew Dias, Jan van Riebeeck and Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir. Thereafter we will visit some heritage museums like the Slave Lodge and Cape Castle. We will see the City Hall and the Company Gardens and proceed past the House of Parliament.
  • We stop at the Noon Gun and continue to the Bokaap where we will see the famous Colourful houses in the Cape Quarter and stop to take some photos.
  • An optional stop at Afrogem will be offered to witness the production of fine African jewelry with a focus on rich gold, platinum, diamonds and tanzanite. Guests will be able to walk the working factory floor and purchase the jewelry directly. We proceed to the top of Signal Hill to admire the view of the City Bowl area including the Cape Town Stadium.
  • Thereafter we take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain to explore this unique piece of nature. We recommend a light lunch to be enjoyed on the top of the mountain.
  • Upon our return from Table Mountain we will proceed to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a tour of one of the most beautiful gardens in South Africa. This unmatched natural beauty can be found at the foot of Table Mountain.
  • Time permitting, guests will have an option to stop at one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa known as Groot Constantia for a wine tasting (own account).

Day 3:  Cape Peninsula Private Tour:

  • You will be picked up at your accommodation at 9:00am (Flexible Time) later or earlier by your Tour guide/driver and embark on a memorable private Cape Town excursion. We will travel along the Atlantic Seaboard, with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other and pass through Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay. We will have a photo stop at Maiden’s Cove.
  • From there we proceed past the 12 Apostles mountain range and Llandudno, and have our next stop in Hout Bay. Here guests can take a boat to Seal island to view the Seals.
  • Upon our return from Seal Island we will proceed along Chapman’s Peak drive, with an option of stopping at Cape Point Vineyard, known as the masters in producing the best white wines in South Africa. Ask for their flagship Sauvignon Blanc during your wine tasting and you will not be disappointed. You can also have a light lunch there.
  • From there, we proceed through Noordhoek with the option of stopping for the finest roasted coffee at The Village Roast on this route. We proceed to Boulder’s Beach to see the endangered African Penguins colony in their natural habitat.
  • We then continue to the monument of Just Nuisance, the Great Dane dog who made his own history in the South African Navy in Simon’s Town.
  • Our next stop will be at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point Lighthouse. Please wear comfortable shoes and always bring a jacket. Ask your expert Cape Point tour guide to guide you along the safe hiking trails, should you be a keen hiker. Lunch can be enjoyed at a restaurant of your choice.   • Once in the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve, we explore the Dias cross and some fauna and flora and see the meeting point of the 2 currents: the cold Benguela Current and the warm Agulhas Current. You may also encounter some baboons and other wildlife. We advise our guests not to get too close to the Baboons and avoid feeding them as these are wild animals and can therefore be dangerous.
  • Our return route is passing through Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenburg, via the Old Cape Road. You will be dropped off at your accommodation after the tour at 18:00pm. Overnight: The Table Bay Hotel, 5-star or similar.

Day 4 Cape Town Private Wine Tours:  

  • You will be picked up at your accommodation by your Tour Guide/Driver at 9:00am. Experience the Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek wine estates on this splendid route and enjoy lunch in the vineyards.
  • We begin by traveling along the N2 towards DeMorgenzon wine estate for guests’ first wine tasting. This award-winning winery has produced the best Chardonnay in the world. From there, we continue on this route to Stellenbosch, for a town orientation tour.
  • Then we proceed to Marianne Wine Estate in Paarl to experience Biltong and wine tasting. Marianne believes that biltong pairing enhances the flavors of the red wine they produce. Marianne’s Floreal blend was also hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday.
  • Next we travel to Fairview Vineyards and Goats Cheese for a cheese and wine tasting. Here guests can purchase their favorite cheese and condiments, as well as their favorite wine from a choice of 3 ranges.
  • We make our way to the food and wine capital of Franschhoek, with a stop at the Drakenstein Prison for a photo with the Nelson Mandela monument. Franschhoek is home to some of the finest restaurants and wine estates in the country and we will pass the French Huguenot monument. Then we stop at Haute Cabriere wine estate, where guests can taste the MCC, which is the South African version of champagne.
  • From there, we visit Delaire Graff wine estate for the last tasting. Delaire Graff is known as The JEWEL of the Cape Winelands. At the end of the tour guests will be dropped off at their accommodation at approximately 18:00. Overnight: The Table Bay Hotel, 5-star or similar.

Day 5:  Shark Cage Diving tour with private transfers to and from Gansbaai: 

  • Pick up will be confirmed at least 24 hours before the time – prepare for an early morning pick up, usually around 06:00am. We journey along the scenic N2 road of the Western Cape in luxury.
  • As we head towards the town of Gansbaai, world-renowned for its shark diving facilities, enjoy a light breakfast upon arrival at the diving base and get an introductory briefing with the diving crew. Then we board the chartered boat for a thrilling cage diving adventure. We experience the unique sensation of coming up close to sharks in the complete safety of a cage. There will be fresh towels and diving equipment will be provided on board the boat during the 3 to 4-hour experience, along with a dive certificate and DVD of the day upon your return to base. Upon our return to the base, we freshen up with a hot shower and clean towels.
  • Then we set off to return to Cape Town. Along the way we stop in the town of Hermanus, known for its high plant diversity and whale watching activities. Guests will have the option to either taste regional wines at 2 wineries of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, or look for whales from the shore during whale watching season.
  • Another option would be to enjoy a 3-course Food and Wine pairing lunch at Creation wine estate.
  • Thereafter we continue through the small coastal village of Betty’s Bay, where you can see one of the largest penguin colonies of Cape Town at Stony Point.

Day 6:  3-Nights, 4-Days Garden Route private tour:  

  • Guests will be collected at their accommodation by a qualified tour guide/driver in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle at 9:00am. We will travel along the scenic, mountainous wine route of the Franschhoek Pass, with an optional stop for Wine tasting at one wine estate. Passing through the picturesque Theewaterskloof Dam, we will connect with the N2 just before the town of Caledon. There will be frequent comfort stops along the way.
  • We will stop for lunch at the beautiful Drostdy Restaurant situated on the historic Zanddrift building in Swellendam. After lunch we will proceed on N2 towards Albertinia and will have a stop at the Aloe Vera factory (20 minutes) for a complimentary cup of coffee and optional shopping.
    Our next stop will be Mossel Bay where we will smell and come into contact for the first time with the majestic Indian ocean. We will travel to Zorgfontein to Walk with the Lions.     From there we will overnight in Mossel Bay. After check-in at accommodation and freshening up, guests will be taken for dinner as per the tour schedule. Day 7:  3-Nights, 4-Days Garden Route private tour:  

  • Guests will be collected at their accommodation after check-out and breakfast. We will explore the Mossel Bay area with the highlights as follows: The Post Office Tree, the Bartholomew Diaz Museum complex and the St. Blaize light house. We will depart for Knysna also known as the JEWEL of the Garden Route through the spectacular Outeniqua Pass & the 4 Passes situated at 800 meters above sea level with various stops for photos. We will drive through Wilderness, Sedgefield and Knysna, with majestic scenic views of the lakes and rivers.
    At 14:30 we embark on an afternoon Knysna Lagoon Oyster Tour, where guests will have the opportunity to do some oyster tasting and learn about the history of Knysna and its Oysters.

Day 8:  3-Nights, 4-Days Garden Route private tour:  

  • Guests will be collected at their accommodation at 9:00am. Today we will travel on the scenic route towards Plettenburg Bay to visit the Elephant Sanctuary (1hour). Here we will have the opportunity to Walk with the Elephants – trunk in hand. From there we will continue towards Storms River mouth and have an optional lunch at the Cattle Baron there. After lunch we will embark on a guided walking tour of about 900 meters to the Hanging bridge and participate in a Canopy tour over the Tsitsikamma Forest.

Day 9:  3-Nights, 4-Days Garden Route private tour:  

  • Guests will be collected at their accommodation after check-out and breakfast. Today we return to Cape Town via Oudtshoorn.
    We will travel inland through the Robertson Pass at 860 meters above sea level towards Oudtshoorn famous for the Ostriches and the Cango Caves. Our first stop will be at the Safari Ostrich farm. Here guests will have to opportunity to see, feed, touch, ride and kiss the Ostriches.
    After this experience our tour continues to the famous Cango caves for a standard tour.
    Following this activity guests will have lunch in the vicinity.

A safe hike for Table Mountain will take you plus minus 2 hours up, and for Lion’s head plus minus 1h30 up. Remember to take a warm jacket and comfortable shoes and a bottle of water.
