Welcome to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda East Africa

Right in the Northern Part of the Republic of Uganda, on the shore of the beautiful Lake Albert, one will find the largest Park the country has, Murchison Falls National Park covering 1503 square meters. The Park is considered to be the permanent home of Murchinson Falls where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. This Ugandan National Park is home to a great number of Chimpanzees families living peacefully in the Kaniyo Pabidi Mahogany Forest and an array of other wildlife such as African elephants, and hippos.  Amazing Lake Albert Delta is known to be the habitat of shoebill storks. For the fishermen enthusiastic, there is plenty to do with an array of game fish in the cascades of the incredible Karuma Falls. The Park has the largest population of Nile crocodiles with approximately 75 species of mammals and big cats such as lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant, waterbuck, hartebeest, buffalo, hippopotamus, and chimpanzee. There are about 800 chimpanzees living across the national park boundaries.
