Situated in the hotel’s original 1899 dining room, the Lord Nelson serves much-loved global classics in a room rich in heritage. Admire wood-panelled walls, botanical tapestries, a fascinating pressed ceiling and minstrels’ gallery. OASIS RESTAURANT

Take a seat overlooking the pool and gardens for a wholesome buffet breakfast and hot dishes such as eggs Benedict and grilled kippers. In the summer months, linger over Chef Rudi Liebenberg’s regularly changing lunch menus, savouring Cape Malay chicken curry, Saldanha Bay oysters or crisp, organic salads. Open for breakfast and lunch from 06:30 – 11:00 and 12:30 – 15:00. Closed for lunch during winter.
