Play Tanzania's First Championship Course Between Kilimanjaro & Meru, Then the Great Migration
This is the definitive Tanzania golf safari — a journey that pairs the country's first championship golf course with the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth. You open at Kiligolf, the Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate near Arusha, playing a David Jones-designed par-72 on a 1,040-acre wildlife estate between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, where zebra, wildebeest and antelope roam the fairways and an island green waits on the final hole. Then you drive and fly west into Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti for the Big Five and the Great Migration, before a final relaxed round back at Kiligolf.
Kiligolf is a real championship layout in the cool highland air at around 1,400 metres, built to USGA specification and set inside its own wildlife sanctuary of plains game — golf as no resort course can offer it, with two of Africa's great mountains for a backdrop. Between rounds, Tanzania's northern circuit delivers the world's finest safari: the Serengeti and its two-million-strong migration, the wildlife amphitheatre of the Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire's baobabs and elephant herds. Green fees, caddies and lodging offer remarkable value against comparable golf-and-safari destinations. Golf among wildlife, then a world-class safari: this is a trip that belongs to no other country.
Made for golfers who want their round among wildlife and their safari among the very best. It suits couples and small groups where one traveller is a keen golfer and another simply loves the bush — everyone shares the Serengeti equally, and non-golfers get a world-class safari of their own.

The golf plays beautifully year-round at Kiligolf thanks to its cool highland setting at around 1,400 metres, so timing is driven by the safari. The classic window is July to October, pairing dry-season game viewing with the migration crossing the northern Serengeti and the Mara River. January to February is the dramatic calving season on the southern plains. The green season — March to May and November — is quieter and cheaper, with the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire still superb.
Kiligolf is Tanzania's first 18-hole championship course — a David Jones par-72 set inside a 1,040-acre wildlife estate where zebra, wildebeest and antelope roam the fairways beneath Kilimanjaro.
Not a token game drive — the full northern circuit, with the Serengeti and the Great Migration, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, all from the same base.
Time your round for July to October and watch two million wildebeest thunder across the Serengeti between rounds, or come for the calving in January to February.
The wildlife estate, the mountains and a world-class safari mean every traveller in the party is superbly looked after, whether they play or not.
