Welcome to Guga S'thebe

Guga S'thebe Arts & Culture Centre is located in one of the oldest townships of Cape Town namely Langa approximately 15 Km away from the city centre and it is one of the highlights for tourists who are on a guided tour to Langa. Guga Sthebe, housed in a brightly colored building, is dedicated to the empowerment of the people of Langa and improving their socio-economical situation.

The aim of Guga S'thebe is to create skills to the youth of Langa Townships as about 60% of the adults are unemployed. The center has a training facility for pottery and other art skills and an expo market. Guga Sthebe contributes to the youth of Langa by providing accounting services for small entrepreneurs, secretarial services, and other facilities that enable people to start a business and provide for themselves.
