Tsitsikamma, often referred to as the Garden of the Garden Route, is located on a 200m high plateau that stretches from the Bloukrans River in the west to the Tsitsikamma River in the east, and borders the north by the imposing Tsitsikamma Mountains and the south by the Indian Ocean.

Tsitsikamma Forest can be visited throughout the year, but the best time to visit Tsitsikamma Forest will be from January to May and from August to December annually. This time of year has minimal rainfall so that you can explore the forest at its best.
